NBNU and NANB are partnering to host two bilingual interactive workshops on compassion fatigue this fall. During the interactive workshop nurses will learn how to better understand and manage compassion fatigue in themselves, their colleagues, and their organizations.
WHEN: The events will take place from 0900 – 1600hrs in Bathurst on September 26 and in Fredericton on September 27

SISTERS RISING TOGETHER
The Canadian Labour Congress, Atlantic Region, is pleased to offer its first Women’s Leadership Summit: “Sisters Rising Together.” The event will open with an evening plenary session with guest speakers, including featured keynote address by poet, professor and activist El Jones followed by a “Sisters Solidarity Social.” Saturday and Sunday will consist of leadership-oriented talks, forums and panel discussions for women in the labour movement, including sessions on “Young Women Rising” and a presentation on “Women and the Media.” NBNU president, Paula Doucet will participate on a panel discussion.
