Today, and for the foreseeable future, the job market will be very good for Registered Nurses both in New Brunswick and across Canada. The population of Canada and New Brunswick is getting older and living longer, increasing the demand for health care professionals. As well, half of present day RNs will be eligible for retirement in the next 10 years. The opportunities for placement and advancement for RNs have never been better.
RNs make competitive salaries comparable to other professions with similar education and responsibilities.
RNs Have Flexibility
Registered Nurses today have more options than ever before about what kind of work they do, where they do it, and when they work. There is the possibility of working days, evenings or nights for either 8- or 12-hour shifts on either a full or part-time basis in a hospital setting or in the community. The choice is yours!
