Nurse Managers / Supervisors Pension Plan

Managers/supervisors and the nurses, part III (hospital) nurses are covered by a hospital pension plan called the Certain Bargaining Employees (CBE) Pension Plan. This plan also covers some members of the New Brunswick Public Employees Association. The CBE Pension Plan is administered through the Office of Human Resources by the Pension Benefits Division. The CBE Pension Committee includes union and government representatives. The Pension Committee reviews investments, the performance of investment managers, and examines strategies to provide an increase in benefits and other pension improvements for the members.

Representatives of the New Brunswick Nurses Union sitting on this committee are Janet Walker, unit representative, nurse managers/supervisors; Marilyn Quinn, president; and Shelley Duggan, unit representative, nurses, part III (hospital). David Brown, executive director, sits as an advisor on this committee.
